Description

In this episode of Short Japanese Lessons you will learn the correct expression in Japanese to use to ask whether a seat is taken.

In the practice conversation you have just landed in Japan. Whilst waiting at the airport you wish to sit down but you're not sure if an empty seat is taken or not:

You: "Koko, ii desuka" (May I sit here?)
Traveller: "Ii desu yo, doozo" (That's fine)
